At least 15 people were killed Monday when two buses collided in India's western state of Maharashtra, police said. Fifty-four passengers were injured in the accident in the Buldhana district, 250 kilometres east of state capital Mumbai. "The vehicles caught fire after the buses collided head-on. Thirteen passengers were burnt to death in their seats," local police chief BI Suryavanshi said by telephone. He said the death toll could rise because eight passengers were in critical condition, according to a report of DPA.
