Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Open University, stressed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was the first supporter of the Arab Open University. This came in Prince Talal's speech delivered by Prince Turki bin Talal during the graduation ceremony held by the University yesterday. Prince Talal also said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques issued directives to establish the University's branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as he was aware of the economic, social and cultural feasibility of this non-profit university. "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques opened the donation campaign organized by the University for the establishment of its buildings. The King donated SR 100 million which was the main support for the University."
