The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has donated SR100 million for Arab Open University to continue constructing its building infrastructure for its branches in a number of Arab countries, it was announced here today. Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of Arab Gulf Programme for the Support of United Nations Developmental Organizations (AGFUND) and President of the university's Council of Trustees, extended thanks to the monarch for this generous support, calling it a step in a march of support of Arab education by the King, citing the recent laying of the foundation stone of King Abdullah University for Sciences and Technology in Saudi Arabia. Arab Open University so far accommodates as many as 22,000 female and male students.
