Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has reiterated his strong commitment to the initiative of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and its executive mechanisms, looking forward that other parties will deal positively with the Initiative and its mechanisms. In a cable addressed to the commanders of Yemen's Armed Forces and Security last night on the occasion of New Hijri Year 1433, President Saleh called on Yemeni political powers to appreciate the sincere and fraternal positions of the leaders and peoples of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), who have been keen on helping Yemen to get out of the excruciating crisis and, to avoid the tragedies, noting that this historic agreement will spare Yemen and the region all risks.
