Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh affirmed today his country's keenness on enhancing cooperative relationship and economic integration with the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, reported Yemeni news agency "Saba". He made these remarks here last night after opening a conference on "Avenues of exploring Investment Opportunities in Yemen." In an address to attendees, President Saleh reiterated that his country and government would offer all facilities for investors -- local, regional and international and that the current investment environment in Yemen is far better than the past. He also stressed that the High Authority for Investment will be responsible for lands and it will be the only referral body for investors. -- SPA
