AlHijjah 28, 1432, Nov 24, 2011, SPA -- Japan's Emperor Akihito left hospital Thursday after recovering from bronchitis, media reports said, citing the Imperial Household Agency which quoted by dpa. The 77-year-old monarch's temperature had fallen but he would have to spend the next few days at home in his palace, the broadcaster NHK said. He was admitted to the University of Tokyo Hospital November 6 with bronchitis and a high temperature. Doctors reportedly want the emperor's resumption of his official duties to depend on his recovery. During the emperor's stay in hospital, his son Crown Prince Naruhito carried out his duties.
