FANA General Assembly Conference Concludes

AlHijjah 26, 1432, Nov 22, 2011, SPA -- The 39th Conference of the General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) was concluded here today with the participation of a large number of managers and heads of boards of directors and chief editors of Arab News Agencies.
In recommendations and decisions issued at the end of the meeting today evening, FANA General Assembly stressed the necessity of training courses to be organized by FANA. It also approved the election of two deputies for FANA's President, namely Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and Jordan News Agency (Petra). It also approved the election of four agencies as members in the FANA General Secretariat Staff, namely Kuwait News Agency, National News Agency, Maghreb Arab Press, Yemen News Agency.
