Al-Ghamidi elected as FANA's first deputy president

The general assembly of the Federation of the Arab News Agencies (FANA) elected here today Abdulaziz al-Ghamidi, the director general of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), as the first deputy president of FANA, and the director of the Middle East News Agency as the second deputy president for the next two years.
The directors of the Qatari, Syrian, Moroccan and Lebanese news agencies were elected as members of FANA's secretariat general for the next two years.
