AlHijjah 23, 1432, Nov 19, 2011, SPA - Afghan officials say that Germany's foreign minister is in Kabul for meetings with the country's president and the leadership of international military forces. An Afghan foreign ministry official said in a statement that Germany's Guido Westerwelle arrived Saturday and is to meet with President Hamid Karzai and the head of NATO and American forces, U.S. Marine Gen. John Allen. During his visit he is expected to discuss an international conference on Afghanistan that is to convene in the German city of Bonn in December. Westerwelle is on a regional tour. He was in Pakistan Friday, the Associated Press reported.
