Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh of Jordan on Monday took part in a global conference on Afghanistan's future that was held in the German city of Bonn co-chaired by Afghan President Hamid Karzai and German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle. In remarks during the conference, Judeh said that Jordan has major contributions to international efforts that aim at restoring stability in Afghanistan and achieve prosperity for its people who suffered for long decades due to wars. He also said Jordan will continue to fight terrorism and extremism that it suffered from, highlighting medical and humanitarian aid provided by Jordan to Afghanistan through the Jordan field hospital which treated around one million people.
