German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier was expected to arrive Sunday evening in Kabul for a three-day fact- finding visit highlighted by talks with Afghan President Hamid Karzai and a visit with German armed forces. German officials said Steinmeier on Sunday would meet with four Afghan ministers who previously had lived in exile in Germany, while the talks with Karzai were set for Monday. Steinmeier is also to visit German forces at their field headquarters in Mazar-e-Sharif and in Kunduz on Tuesday. Germany currently holds the command of the international security forces ISAF, according to a report of the German news agency "DPA."
