The U.S magazine ranking of the Saudi monarch among the world top list leaders was based on results of a carefully run questionnaire of a sample comprising 70 personalities, where the King was hailed for embarking on reforms and adopting a moderate stances in every walk of life, in the Kingdom. Among the reforms he has recently adopted in the Kingdom were the decision to allow women membership in the consultative Shoura Council and to have the right to stand for municipal councils membership and the right to vote, Forbes stated, adding that the King have spent, also, more than $ 130 billion to fund social projects in addition to King Abdullah Project to Modernize General Education. -- SPA
