More than 1.487 Million Pilgrims Arrive in Saudi Arabia From Abroad

AlHijjah 2, 1432, Oct 29, 2011, SPA - The number of pilgrims who have already arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from abroad to perform Hajj rituals of this year reached 1,487,497, according to official statistics released here yesterday.
The entry of these pilgrims is as follows: 1,371,370 pilgrims by air, 102,724 by road and 13403 by sea.
This is an increase of 26,654 pilgrims , or 1.82%, compared to the number of arrivals for the same period of last year.
