Over 1.655 Million Pilgrims Arrive in Saudi Arabia

AlHijjah 4, 1432, Oct 31, 2011, SPA -- The number of pilgrims who arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj rituals reached 1,655,418, according to yesterday's statistics.
Their means of arrival were as follows: 1,523,236 pilgrims by air; 117,440 by road and 14,742 by sea.
The number of pilgrims increased by 1.7% (27,678) over the previous year.
