The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 81.67 points, or 0.92 per cent, to close at 8,762.31 after rising 1.9 per cent Monday. The broader-based Topix index was down 7.74 points, or 1.02 per cent, at 747.7, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA"
