AlQa'dah 21, 1432, Oct 19, 2011, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia granted the World Food Programme (WFP) in Egypt dates worth 1.7 million Egyptian pounds in order to support the WFP development projects there. The grant was handed over today by the Director of International Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Finance Mohamed bin Munahi Al-Otaibi to the Director of WFP Egypt Gian Pietro Bordignon. On this occasion, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League Ambassador Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan said in a statement that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen on contributing to the development objectives in Egypt through the World Food Programme.
