AlQa'dah 18, 1432, Oct 16, 2011, SPA - Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs met here yesterday Deputy U.S. Secretary of Energy Daniel Bunman and the accompanying delegation. The meeting dealt with discussions on several issues including the international oil market and prospective cooperation between producing and consuming countries. For his part, the Deputy Energy Secretary highlighted the constructive and major role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to bring about stability in the international oil market that could serve the interests of producing and consuming countries alike. He also commended the fruitful cooperation between the Kingdom and the United States in the field of petroleum. The meeting was attended by a number of officials of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom, James Smith.
