AlQa'dah 11, 1432, Oct 9, 2011, SPA - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of Saudi Arabia for its assistance to the people of Pakistan to overcome natural disasters that have hit his country. "It is heartening to note that Saudi Arabia has provided a large chunk of money to support projects of rehabilitation and reconstruction in areas affected by the earthquake that struck Pakistan in 2005, especially the reconstruction of hospitals, medical centers, universities and schools and service facilities," said the Pakistani Prime Minister. During a visit to the city of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad (liberated) Kashmir, on the 6th anniversary of the earthquake, Gilani has renewed his thanks to all countries that have assisted his country, particularly Saudi Arabia, that has been still supporting the Pakistani people through relief campaigns.
