French President Sarkozy Meets IMF Chief Lagarde

AlQa'dah 11, 1432, Oct 9, 2011, SPA - French President Nicolas Sarkozy held talks with International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde on Saturday, with the meeting in Paris designed to prepare for the next Group of
20 summit in early November, according to a spokesman for the Elysee Palace.
Sarkozy is due in Berlin on Sunday for talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, officially to discuss the next European Union summit and a special meeting of eurozone leaders in Brussels on October 17 and 18.
Paris also holds the rotating presidency of the G20, which is due to discuss changes to the international financial system in Cannes next month, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
