AlQa'dah 11, 1432, Oct 9, 2011, SPA -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy expressed Sunday their determination to shore up banks exposed to the eurozone debt crisis, during talks in Berlin, dpa reported. "We are determined to do what is necessary to ensure the recapitalization of our banks," Merkel said at a joint press conference. Sarkozy said a "durable and global" solution to the eurozone crisis must be found "before the end of the month."
