Four explosions on Sunday rocked the Iraqi city of Karbala, around 118 kilometres south of the capital Baghdad, leaving an unspecified number of casualties, police sources said. The back-to-back explosions occurred outside a governmental building and damaged many cars, added the sources. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the blasts, caused by explosive packages, according to police quoted by the German Press Agency "DPA".
