Two bomb attacks rocked a southern Philippine city on Wednesday, killing at least two people, police said. The first blast occurred inside a residential subdivision in Cotabato City, 930 kilometres south of Manila, killing two people, according to dpa. Police Senior Inspector Willy Kasuyo said the homemade bomb was believed to have been planted in a motorcycle, which was damaged in the explosion. The man on the motorcycle and a bystander were killed, he said. Minutes later, another homemade bomb exploded outside the house of a regional director of the National Bureau of Investigation, Kasuyo said. There was no immediate information if there were casualties in the second blast. -- SPA
