Prince Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Attends Arab Ministerial Committee Meeting On The Sudan

The Arab Ministerial Committee on The Sudan held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Arab League Secretary General Dr Nabil Al-Arabi and the participation of its 10 member countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates , Algeria, Qatar, Sudan, Syria, Oman, Libya, Egypt and Yemen.
The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting was headed by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Committee stressed its support for Sudan's efforts to contain the events in South Kordofan and Blue Nile, calling on The Popular Movement to renounce violence and to negotiate a political settlement.
