AlHijjah 28, 1432, Nov 24, 2011, SPA -- Presided over by Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani, Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, the Arab Ministerial Committee assigned to follow-up the Syrian crisis, started its activities here today with the participation of its members who are Foreign ministers of Egypt, Sudan, Algeria and Sultanate of Oman, in addition to the Arab League Secretary General, Dr. Nabil el-Arabi. Prince Saud Al Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting. An official source said in a statement today that the meeting discusses the situation in the Syrian arena in the light of decisions of the meeting of Arab foreign ministers held recently in Morocco on Nov. 16, 2011.
