At least 15 people were killed during the last twenty-four hours in the Pakistani city of Karachi, which is gripped by unabated violence since a week claiming lives of more than 100 people. Local Television News Channels reported continuing acts of violence, assassination and guerrilla warfare despite the government's claims and its orders to security officials to deal with rioters with an iron-fist. The Channels disclosed that five were government employees among the dead and that their bodies were recovered from different parts of Pakistan's port city.
