Prince Abdulaziz Ibn Majed Ibn Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Province, patronized here yesterday the opening ceremony of a SR 150 Million Cardiac Surgery Center, which has an in-patient capacity of 130 beds. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah. Addressing the ceremony, the Prince commended the Center which has been established in the service of Madinah's citizens and visitors, noting that the Center has been provided with the most advanced medical equipment in the world. In his speech, Dr. Al-Rabeeah said that the Ministry of Health is currently building and modernizing 8 hospitals, 103 primary health care centers, a dental center, and other medical projects in Madinah Province, noting that the Ministry is also conducting a large number of medical projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including 119 hospitals and medical towers, 1,414 primary health care centers, 13 laboratories, a blood bank, 11 dental centers, and 8 diabetes centers.
