It has most advanced medical equipment MADINA — Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Madina region, opened a SR150 million, 130-bed cardiac surgery center here Tuesday. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeah, Minister of Health, was also present at the ceremony. Addressing staff and guests, the Prince said the center has the most advanced medical equipment in the world. It has been built on an area of 9,360 sq. meters. In his speech, Al-Rabeah said that the Ministry of Health is currently building and modernizing eight hospitals, 103 primary health care centers, a dental center, and other medical projects in Madina. The ministry is also carrying out a number of medical projects elsewhere in the Kingdom including 119 hospitals and medical towers, 1,414 primary health care centers, 13 laboratories, a blood bank, 11 dental centers, and eight diabetes centers.
