The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Premier and the Chairman of Higher Education Council, has approved the Council's decision on the establishment of Riyadh-based Saudi Electronic University. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), The Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al- Anqari, has pointed out that the University is a governmental educational institution that provides electronic education based on information and communication technologies and the techniques of electronic learning and distance education, noting that it includes The Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Dr. Al-Anqari expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for supporting educational institutions in the service of the homeland and its citizens.
