Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed thanks to Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Minister of Education and Deputy Chairman of King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). This came after the Kingdom, represented by Mawhiba and the Ministry of Education, ranked the first and fourth places in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, (Intel ISEF 2011) in two areas of the fair which was held recently in the city of Los Angeles in the United States of America. In a reply cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said addressing the Minister: "We thank you for what you expressed of kind feelings, appealing to God Almighty that this institution could achieve the goals for which it was established". Among 1537 contested male and female students represented 64 countries, the Saudi talented female student Bayan Mohammed Moshat ( second year student of Secondary school) snatched the first place for her project in the field of social and behavioral sciences, while the Saudi talented male student Mohammed Moataz Ghulman ( third year student of secondary school) occupied the fourth place for his project in the field of cellular and molecular biology.
