President of Youth Welfare Patronizes The Draw For Asian Handball Championships

Prince Nawaf Ibn Faisal Ibn Fahd Ibn Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare Presidency and Chairman of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee patronized here yesterday a draw ceremony for Asian Handball Clubs and Teams Championships to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah on January 26- February 4, 2012, and Dammam on November 11-20, 2011, for the qualifications of Handball World Championship in Spain in 2013.
Addressing the ceremony, the Prince said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier have directed to pay attention to youth and athletes and to welcome them in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The results of the draw are as follows:
- Asian Handball Championship for Clubs:
Group 1: Lebanese Sadd, Saudi Mudhar, Iranian Fulaz Mubarak, Qatari Ahli, Kuwaiti Fehaiheel, and UAE Ahli.
Group 2: Saudi Al-Khalij, Lebanese Sadaqah, Iranian Zoub Ahan, Qatari Al-Jaish, Kuwaiti Shabab, and Iraqi South Naft.
- Asian Handball Championship for Teams:
Group 1: South Korea, Japan, Iran, Jordan and Kuwait.
Group 2: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Uzbekistan.
