At least 10 people were killed and 42 injured when a bus plunged off a mountain road and crashed into a stream in Indian-administered Kashmir on Saturday, dpa quoted officials as saying. The accident took place in the Langanbal village situated some 80 kilometres south of state capital Srinagar. "The vehicle fell about 100 metres into the stream after the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a bend," a local police officer said. "Four people died on the scene while the other victims succumbed to their injuries later," he said requesting anonymity. Among the dead were two children and a woman, the official said. The injured were being treated at a government hospital in nearby town of Anantnag.
