Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari hailed today his country's relations with the State of Qatar, and expressed Islamabad's keen desire to strengthen further the brotherly ties in various areas of common interest, particularly in the areas of economy, trade, investment, manpower and energy. He made these remarks during a meeting this morning with visiting Qatari delegation headed by Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Thani, a member of the ruling family at the presidential palace in Islamabad. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Qatar and means of bolstering cooperation in various fields, according to Farhat-allah Babar, the spokesman of the Pakistani Presidency.
