Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Jafar Hassan on Wednesday discussed with Japan's special envoy to the Middle East Yutaka Iimura means of boosting bilateral economic ties, investment opportunities and Japanese aid to Jordan. Hassan expressed Jordan's appreciation for Japan's continuing development assistance and its role in the growth of the Jordanian economy, reform and development. He also delivered a briefing on Jordan's economic and financial conditions and challenges caused by the current regional circumstances. The envoy hailed the two countries' deep relations; stressing Japan's continued support to Jordan in spite of the difficult financial conditions after the devastating earthquake that rocked northeastern Japan last march.
