Qa'da 05, Oct 13, SPA -- Jordanian Prime Minister Sameer Al Rifai arrived Tuesday in Tokyo for a three-day official visit to Japan. During the visit, Al-Rifai is scheduled to meet with his Japanese counterpart Naoto Kan and several other Japanese officials to discuss means to enhance Jordanian-Japanese relations. Al-Rifai will also meet with representatives from the Japanese private sector, including major companies, to acquaint them with investment opportunities in the Kingdom. The Jordanian Prime Minister will also highlight the country's proposed mega-projects in various key sectors and explore the possibility of Japanese companies participating in them. A high ranking delegation is accompanying Al-Rifai including Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Khalid Irani; Minister of Industry and Trade Amer Hadidi; Transport Minister Alaa Batayneh, Minister of Public Sector Development and Minister of State for Mega-Projects Imad Fakhoury, and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Jafar Hassan, QNA reported.
