Officials in the Sudanese Province of Darfur today expressed great appreciation of and thanks to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for its benevolent efforts to alleviate the sufferings of people in Darfur, citing the Saudi government's gift of ambulance vehicles yesterday and other service projects including 21 health centers and 21 potable water wells benefiting more than 800,000 people in the state which were implemented some time ago. The comments came in the aftermath of an inspection tour made by Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Farhan, Director General of the International Affairs Department at the Saudi Arabian Red Crescent Commission, who is currently visiting Darfur.
