Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhiddin Khoja extended thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in his capacity as the current chairman of the Islamic Broadcastings Federation's (IBF) executive council, for the King's generous patronage of the Federation and continuous backing for Organization of Islamic Conference and its various agencies. The Minister said, in a cable following the meeting of the Federation which took place here today in the presence of the Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Conference Prof. Akmaulddine Ihsanoglu, that the participants express thanks to the Saudi Government for its continuous assistance to Islamic joint action, among which is such a meeting which became a success due to that support. It enabled, too, the Federation to achieve a considerable success towards improving the Federation to fully play its role as an effective tool to push the media in the direction that helps Islamic nation causes and present a clear image of the noble religion of Islam and how to defend it. -- SPA
