Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Hasan, President of the University of Najran has made an inspection tour of the University City Project, covering 30 buildings and support services' schemes spread over an area of 18 million square meters located at the eastern extension of the city. The President listened to a detailed briefing from the Director of the University's Project Management Engineer Hasan Jareeb, which focused on varied stages of the construction, completion of works so far and on-going works scheduled for completion in the next few months. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency after the tour, the President of the University said what has been accomplished by the University city is the outcome of the great support of the leadership to it. "The progress of the project is going ahead as planned," he said, adding that the completed projects included the first phase of housing for students and members of the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Computer as well as the Community College and the College of Applied Medical Sciences, which will begin to receive students, God willing, in less than a year. He also expressed his thanks to Prince Meshal Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Najran Province for keeping a personal track of the progress of the university city's projects in Najran and assisting in overcoming any obstacles that stand in the way until we resolved them all and reached these advanced stages of completion.
