Contracts worth SR847 million are expected to be rubber-stamped in the next few weeks for new buildings at Najran University. Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Hasan, Rector of Najran University, said that contracts of SR150 million, SR130 million, and SR100 million, were due to be signed for the faculties of Medicine and Administrative Sciences and a Student Orientation Center respectively. Al-Hasan said that contracts had earlier been awarded for student and teaching staff housing worth SR147 million, a university administration building worth SR110 million, a Faculty of Dentistry building for SR110 million and a Faculty of Pharmacology building worth SR100 million, and that the contracts would be signed in the near future. Work has started on infrastructure costing SR92 million, the Faculty of Science and Engineering at a cost of SR156 million, the College of Education and Girl's Complex at a cost of SR110 million, the College of Applied Medical Science for SR110 million, the Faculty of Computer Science at a cost of SR98 million, and the Community College at a cost of SR98 million.
