GCC addresses International Labor Conference

The United Arab Emirates Minister of Labor Saqr bin Ghabash Saeed Ghabash addressed the International Labor Conference on behalf of the Gulf Cooperation Council's labor ministers.
Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, the Minister of Labor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leads his country's delegation to the meeting.
Ghabash briefed the conferees on the latest developments at the labor markets of the GCC member states matching with the international standards.
In particular, he said efforts are underway in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to improve the labor environment and develop the relation between the different parties of production, citing the establishment of national labor committees, payment of bursaries to job-seekers and establishment of grand recruitment companies.
