Director General of Civil Defense Lieutenant General Saad bin Abdullah Al-Tuwaijri received here today a delegation of International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) who came to conduct an initial evaluation for the process of the international classification for search and rescue groups in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the outset of the meeting, Al-Tuwaijri briefed the delegation of INSARAG on the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier to activate the international cooperation in fighting disasters and providing relief and humanitarian assistance. The head of INSARAG's delegation hailed the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in providing relief and humanitarian assistances to affected countries. The delegation of INSARAG will conduct field tours of the facilities of the Saudi civil defense.
