EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton said that the European Union still feels a great concern on the situation in Yemen and calls for the need to establish a transitional phase that takes into account Yemeni legitimate demands. In a statement on the sidelines of a meeting of European foreign ministers here today, Ashton pointed out that the European position towards Yemen has not changed, but the EU wants to maintain coordination with the Cooperation Council for The Arab States of The Gulf (GCC) on the Yemeni crisis and to move with the GCC states at this stage.
