Saudi Ambassador to the Netherlands and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Shaghroud held here on Friday evening a reception party in honor of the new Director General of the Organization, Ambassador Ahmet Uzümcü of Turkey. Addressing the party, Ambassador Al-Shaghroud lauded the new Director General and his diplomatic experiences that would assist him greatly in administering the Organization at this important stage of its history. The ambassador also stressed the important role of the Director General and the Organization's Technical Secretariat in the promotion of international cooperation with the member states of the Organization. On his part, the Director General commended the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its positive contributions to the works of the Organization, expressing his hope to strengthen the Organization's roles internationally.
