OIC Chief Opens Moroccan Artist Expo on "Paintings of the Islamic Heritage"

The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu opened here today an exhibition of Moroccan Artist Zine El Abidine Al-Alawi on "Paintings of the Islamic Heritage."
Professor Ihsanoglu lauded the exhibition, which runs until May 29 and focuses on rare paintings of the Islamic Heritage.
He toured the Exhibition and listened to a briefing on works of art presented at the Expo by the Moroccan artist.
"In this new era, the OIC is promoting common cultural heritage in the Member States in order to achieve the Islamic solidarity," he added.
