Awwal 26, 1432 / April 30, 2011, SPA -- A housewife was killed in a landslide in Cigulawing village, Garut district, West Java at about 11:30 am on Saturday, a Garut administration official said. Head of the information section of the Garut district administration, Dikdik Hendrajaya said that the local people who searched for Kokom with makeshift tools, found the body deep in the mud. The landslide as high as 70 meters and 20 meters wide which happened in the hilly area after heavy rain, immediately fell upon the villager, who was standing under a cliff, ANTARA reported. In the meantime, Garut regent, Aceng HM Fikri asked all the local community to raise their awareness especially in the natural disaster prone-areas, let alone during the heavy rains.
