Landslides, which hit Pingit Lor village, Pandanarum subdistrict, Banjarnegara District, Central Java, damaged and buried five houses on Thursday and Friday, ANTARA reported. "Incessant rains since Thursday (Feb. 28) have triggered the landslides, which partly buried my house," Sarwani, a resident of Pingit Lor, said here on Saturday. Meanwhile, Secretary of the Pandanarum subdistrict administration Teguh Handoko said that the area was prone to landslides as it is located in the hill. "We continue to warn local residents to be on alert and immediately move to safer areas when rains fall," he said.
