Awwal 17, 1432 H/April 21, 2011, SPA -- An explosion ripped through a club located next to a busy market in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Thursday, killing 15 people and injuring more than 35, dpa cited rescue officials as saying. The blast took place inside the Rummy Club in the metropolitan city of more than 1.6 million people. Iftikhar Tarar, the chief police investigator in Karachi, told the German Press Agency dpa that the bomb had apparently been planted in advance. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
