Awwal 09, 1432, April 13, 2011, SPA -- Pakistani police said Tuesday that a bomb blast targeted an evening train in southern province of Sindh, leading to the destruction of the train's engine and causing injury to its driver. Police said the explosion was caused by a bomb planted by unidentified gunmen on a railway line near the city of 'Yaqub-Abad'. It exploded during the passage of a passenger train bound from Karachi to the northwestern city of Peshawar. "The explosion led to the destruction of the train's engine and caused injury to its driver. There was no harm to passengers of the train," the Police added.
