Awwal 15, 1432 H/April 19, 2011, SPA -- Highlighting the objectives of his current official visit to the United Kingdom, the Minister of Labor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, said he is planning to probe the British experience in creating job opportunities and the ways they were following to assist job-seekers find suitable jobs. In a statement to journalists, Faqih said the visit also takes place within a general program to examine the best practices in the world to enable job-seekers find jobs as early as possible in implementation of the royal order to help job-seekers find jobs and other programs related to Saudization and fight against unemployment. He said his meetings and visits were divided into two categories: meetings with government officials and meetings with private sector groups. For his part, the Director of Trade and Investment Department at the British Ministry of Commerce and Industry Edward Okdin said the meeting he had with the Saudi delegation in London yesterday focused on the challenge that faces both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom of creating jobs for the youths. He said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a work force able to meet the requirements of the future industries sector. He added that Monday's meeting discussed ways to make training accommodating the requirements of the sector of industry.
