All the dead victims have been evacuated at about 03.30 p.m. local time, and were laid in state in a mosque prior to their burial. Priyanto, an eye-witness, said that the accident happened at about 11.30 a.m. local time when they were picking up firewood. When taking the firewood on the edge of the Nambaan River, that its position just below the steep cliffs, a number of stones and soil suddenly fell off a cliff, Priyanto added.
