Landslide injures one person, damages houses in East Java

A landslide injured one resident and damaged a number of houses in Sentul village, Krangrejo, Kampak sub district, Trenggalek District, East Java Province, early Saturday, ANTARA reported.
The injured resident identified as Sumidi (55) was currently being treated at a local community health center (puskesmas).
"His injury is not fatal but he needs intensive care to recover," a paramedic at the puskesmas said here on Saturday.
Sumidi recalled that he did not have a chance to escape from the landslide as the roof of his house suddenly fell on him.
